I stepped onto the Isle of Wight today.
Had a lovely walk in East Cowes, checking into some of the charities shops there. Charity shops are such a brilliant experience... You never know what your going to find!
After East Cowes, we drove on down into Newport. Some great eateries, including the odd, indulgent bakery, surrounded by your more common shops, ranging from Morrisons to Next to Prezzo.
A great day for snooping around, seeing what I could find, in and around the streets. Definitely one to visit, however, maybe not best for the more shopping spree minded of you out there.
Maybe stop off in Southampton before your trip over to the island, to fill that urge before relaxing amongst the more chilled environment found on the isle.
