Look deeper

Have you ever said hello to someone who replies with 'fine', 'alright' or 'I'm ok'? If so, then did you pursue that conversation any further? Probably not if they are not a good friend as the conversation has now lost your interest or died.

Well next time, maybe look a bit deeper in the persons response. Is this person saying this because they don't know me, they don't want to have a conversation with me, or is it because they feel crap or sad or physically feel they cannot have a conversation with you because they are insecure, feel insignificant or maybe they feel invaluable.

Continue on the conversation! Maybe make them talk. Talk about yourself and raw them out, talk about topics that are neutral or if you are a good friend, then talk about something that interestes them or what you know they would want to talk about. Make them forget about their worries and insecurities. Make them feel valued.

If only just for a second; minute; moment. Make them feel positive and valuable. Make them have a purpose.

.......... or maybe just be there to listen.

I have had a very real personal experience with this want and need. Please take a look at my blog, Heal.For.Life, to read my story and share your thoughts about anything you may have experienced or from other people you know.
I want to irradiate this feeling and the labels that are given to it.

No one can give you a label and define you, you define yourself!
