The coffee saloon

We dropped in here for a mid-afternoon snack and a much needed drink, after a charming walk along Wareham's river line. (The river Frome).

Well, we couldn't have picked a better place to try!

The saloon has a quirky and vibrant menu, that is made fresh for you when you order, from toasters to  smoothies, there is a lot to choose from. You can even have orange juice that is freshly made for you and can even watch the process happening, from the squeezing and pressing to the finished product.

I had a tea and it was lovely and soothing. It was hard to pick though, due to the vast selection of fruit teas as well and I couldn't help but notice the wide array of naughty pastries and cakes lining the vintage display crates........  I just had to have a try of one and I am so glad I did as it was one of the best pastries I had ever had, so flaky and buttery! (I'm surprised I didn't go back for another one!

My friend had a coffee and savoury scone that both looked delightful and she said it was absolutely Devine!

At this point, I have to mention the funky decor, as the word 'saloon' describes it perfectly, with wooden panels even nailed to the walls. It vibe has been mingled with an indie flare, with lights draping down over the counters to give that sense of home and comfort, as well as that uniqueness everyone tries to find.

The staff are beyond friendly (and funky) too!

There are also dog biscuits and free tap water for you to help yourself to.

What more could you ask for!

I would definately suggest you try this place out when next in Wareham, Canford Cliffs or down the bottom of Poole Highstreet.
